this was the most important question posed in the sex education seminar i helped facilitate this evening:
"excuse me miss, is 'one-nighter' hyphenated?"
i'm glad the youth of today have their priorities sorted: safe spelling, dirty sex.

Just goes to show—it's not what you've got, it's where you put it (and if you're not sure where it's been, play it safe and slip it into parentheses).

(at which point i made "brrring brrring" noises and went outside to "answer" my phone).
