yo' mama
this morning while walking my nephew around the burbs, a man hollered "YUMMY MUMMY!" at me from his vehicle.
i'm not sure whether to be flattered by the "yummy" or offended about the "mummy"*.
oh well, back to packing my life up.
chag sameach**.
*not that there's anything wrong with being a mummy. in fact some of my best friends are yummy mummies. and granted i was pushing a stroller with an actual baby inside it. so the man's assumption was valid i suppose. i just hope i don't resemble someone who has recently given birth and looks yummy nonetheless. MY TITS ARE REAL!
**it's passover for those of you not in the (jew) know.

went to a friend's shabbat dinner last friday and had a wonderful night. did the prayer thing at the beginning with challah and smoked salmon. then got chinese takeaway. it was amusing to see her old deaf polish grandmother tucking into the chinese food. we made sure we didn't talk about ponies.
now we want to do shabbat too. but we're not jewish so will have to gatecrash regularly. love the rituals!
MG if you're shopping for religion and you love the chinese food you can't go past Taoism. It's got the candles, the incense, the chanting, and the philosophy can't be beat.
For the record the term 'Yummy Mummy' makes me feel nauseous. I prefer MILF.
thanks fluff. not shopping for religion, but rituals, yes. will look at taosim. i like buddhism for principles etc. but can't be a vego i don't think.
mix and match seems to be the way to go, or is that just too offensive?
